When? Sunday mornings at 10:30 am. The majority of our church arrives around 10:25 am, so don't feel that you have to arrive extra early to get a good seat, however, the doors are typically unlocked by 9:45 am if you would like to get to church early and settle in before the service starts.

Where? 502 E. 4th Ave., in Haven

What Should I Expect? You should expect a laid-back and family friendly enviroment. We believe that people shoud be allowed to be who they are at church and that includes our children. Kids are allowed to be kids at HBC, so don't apologize when they run, yell or cry. At HBC we offer something for kids of all ages. We over nursery for your 0-3 year old and Kids Church for your pre-school - 6th grade student. Nursery kiddos are able to be taken downstairs to our nursery (located right off our main entrance lobby) before service starts, while our Pre-K - 6th graders will join in worhsip before being dismissed to Kids Church. Middle School and High School students typically stay in the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings unless they are serving in Nursery or Kids Church.

What to Wear? We have a few people that wear suits and a lot of people that wear jeans, so wear what makes you feel comfortable. You will catch Pastor Chris and Pastor Mike wearing jeans on most Sunday mornings.

Where do I come in? We have 2 entrances that you can enter the building. The main entrance to the church (located on the corner of 4th & Topeka) is the closest entrance to the sanctuary and has wheel chair lift accessability. Many people also enter throug the back entranace of our building where the main parking lot is at. This entrance leads you into our Fellowship hall area and does include a few steps to get into the building. Either entrance is fine, but you may want to consider which entrance works best for you.

What is a Typical Service Like? Our services typically start at 10:30 am, include 3 worship songs followed by announcements and a 30 minute sermon. We are almost always done by 11:30 am. Occasionally we have special services that feature baptisms, communion or a special meeting. Those special circumstances are always announced at the beginning of the service.
